Vintage Clown Wall Hangings
« on: June 27, 2012, 02:39:05 pm »
I have two vintage wall hangings. Does anybody know anything about these? They are not signed. I just thought they were cute.

Are they white in the back and glazed or rough like plaster? If they are glazed look real close to see if a number or anything may be pressed in.  They look like California Pottery from my view.

They appear to be chalkware from the middle of the 20th century. Chalkware is another name for decorative plaster
