Hummel Value on "Ring Around The Rosie"-not perfect shape!

I know, I know if its broken its not worth anything! BUT according to my book for a rare one like this it says even in less than perfect shape could fetch you almost as much as in mint condition. What do you think? Its already bid up well past what I paid-how far do you think people would go for something NOT mint? Its a TMK3 so its pretty darn old too. the only flaw at all is the chip off the scarf in the second picture.

Where are you selling this?  I am suprised, I thought the chip would make it relatively worthless.  My mom has one of these too.  I just aquired 3 hummels in a storage auction and was thinking that they are valued pretty low now due to the economy and no one collecting anymore.  Maybe I am wrong???  Best wishes I hope you do well.

Actually I buy for the purpose of reselling,lol. And let me tell you everyone has told me the market is not great and no one is getting what they used -but i've found with the right piece its making me some nice profit-but ONLY when you get them cheap enough. Which ones do you have if you don't mind me asking?

As long as you remember,, not all will bring top prices !!  And yes It has to be a rare one for a flaw to be accepted without a lower price !! Look at the listings  many don`t even get bids !!  Let us know what the ending price is !!

Oh yes, most I won't even waste my money on even if their in mint shape-most just aren't worth the trouble and i'll let you know!

I currently sell Hummel at about a third the price that I did three years ago. Ignore the books, as they're all out of date now. Congrats on finding a good one though.

Just saw the listing. Nicely done. Others are trying to get as much as $1,850 for it.

Thanks-I can't believe it went for that much broken! But for the $100 I paid i'm happy! I had to take the chance considering it was that piece

Excellent end price !! But I must admit,, I had my doubts it would go that high !!  Of course I don`t know Hummels that well !!
