Wooden Folding Chair
« on: July 13, 2012, 07:18:01 pm »
I found this to be an interesting piece as well.

Again, looking for possible time frame of manufacturing, possible value etc.

It is marked American Seating Co. Grand Rapids, Michigan which is either etched or burned in.

Thanks again!!!

I believe they are the same - wow Sapphire - fast find!!!  Well I now know that it is from around 1930's although I don't think I would want to sell it for $10.   :o

I have a funny feeling I will be holding onto a lot of things with the current market.

Thanks Sapphire - oh it sure is.  Part of it also is that all of these items belonged to a very dear friend of mine and her family and they are all gone now.  So there is some sentimental value as well - just that I don't have a house big enough to keep it all   LOL

Army surplus! Cool!

Yeah, this is a poor market to sell most things. If you like 'em, keep 'em! Especially that man's dresser with the mirror. That's a nice piece!
