Pottery?
« on: August 06, 2012, 10:54:34 am »
Hi there

I hope I'm not being terrible rude in coming on here just tp pick your brains, but I know nothing about antiques and have no idea how else to find out the value of this flask. It's probably worthless but I figured I should check before I take it to the charity shop!

As you can see, it's some kind of pottery, with a chain and a stopper which seems fairly immovable.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I'm not one of the experts, and am as lost as you to what that is. But im guessing the chain is new, and maybe the stopper. It certainly looks very old to me.

The basic material of it certainly seems old, although I think the picture looks too neat to be truly ancient! It's very intriguing...
