I purchased this a few weeks back and can't find another one like it. I think it's an African Folk art statue but I'm not sure. I also don't know what type of wood it's carved from (ebony or some type of fruitwood ?) or the age or vintage of the statue.
The statue is about 9 inches tall and fairly heavy. It has a dark core or center in the wood that runs from the base to the top of the statue.
Does anyone know what type of wood it's made from, the vintage and where the statue was actually made and who made it?
