Porcelain nude figurine

This is 5" long and hand painted. Any ideas as to age and where it was made?

It looks like chalk ware  which is another name for painted plaster. Usually sold as novelties or given away as carnival prizes in the 20s thru 60s. Your figure would be considered very risque for the era and the fact that it is not anatomically detailed and the style of hair and make up makes me think it is from the 50s.

Actually a closer look revealed the fact that it is hollow ceramic but still from the same era.

Late 1940 - 1950's.  Agree the hair style is closer to 50's.  Paint color was also very popular in the 50's.  From the era of the pin up posters, etc that was generated by WWII.

These are collectible - but you won't get rich.

Ditto on all that. I'd elaborate further by saying that it looks like a classic Playboy pinup pose from the 50s, so I'd say it comes from that era.
