Fenton Handlers Mark
« on: September 15, 2012, 02:48:59 pm »
I am trying to determine the age of a piece of Fenton glass that belonged to my grandmother.  I don't think it is that old (maybe 50's).  It still has the paper label inside the basket, but I find learning about the glass fascinating!  I found a directory of the handlers marks, but am having difficulty "reading" the glass.  I know it takes a trained eye to interpret some of these makers/handlers marks.

I am learning SOOOOO much from the folks here at antique-shop and am very, very thankful.  THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!

Nice work Kimmie Junior is the handler, Your piece was made  1960s -70s The pattern is thumbprint color Ruby. Hang on to it as Fenton is no longer making ANY art glass  so at some point prices will go up Value now for it to sell $20.00

YEAH!!!  Thanks, Wendy!  Perhaps I may end up developing an "eye" for glass (or at least research).

Thanks again.
