Now this piece looks Heisey to me.
« on: September 14, 2012, 02:45:19 pm »

HA,  ;D and that is because it is Heisey.

As you can see by the “Diamond/H” Heisey mark.

It was a good day today, the wife went Garage Sale shopping this morning and spent $6.00 for these 5 items, .......

1 celery tray - $1.50
Heisey #394 – “Narrow Flute”

3 Carnival sherbets – $4.00
“Bouquet & Lattice” or “Normandie” – Federal Glass 1933-1940

And $0.50 for that wood handled “spoon” like thingy with both edges of the “spoon” ground sharp enough to cut with.

And she also spent $4.75 for ... 5 sets of old S&P's @ $0.25/each and 5 other good goodies she couldn't come home without.  :D

Now, you are making me feel remorseful. I was in town yesterday and drove by a couple dozen garage sales without stopping. (Maybe a horse trailer full of junk that's been sitting in the shed for a year without getting unloaded has something to do with my lack of interest. :-X)

Actually I was surprised she came home with all those goodies, especially when she only found two garage sales and she was late getting to the one where she got most all those items.

We still haven't figured out what that wood handled “spoon” like thingy is so I will post better pictures of it, maybe later today.

Wendy, that is called a "garnish cutter" for "gussying up" the food you are preparing/serving.

I guess you could call these "garnished" potato chips.  ;D ;D ;D

Never saw one of those things before. A food gussy upper! Sort of an old mandolin.

They make for "appetising" looking potatoes, fruits, etc., or for quickly shredding strips of cheeses, carrots and other colorful veggies, etc. on top of prepared food dishes. Whatever the chef's imagination is.
