I'm not quite sure what I have here. Might be nothing. This chest was given to me, I don't see any name on it. Any ideas?

Looks like a humpback or camelback trunk ca. 1890s. Could be worth $150-$200 around here if stripped and restored. Most of the trunk would be black, while the wood strips would be restored. The hardware could be painted gold.

Lots of work, but it could be a beauty.
