Japanese or Chinese? Translation?

I was hoping someone could help me translate the cover of this book. Thanks in advance!

Chicken Chop Suey?...Chicken Fried Rice,?..perhaps.... ;)...that,s me telling you...i have,nt got a clue...and neither has the 6 previous viewers if this thread....

Take it to an oriental market if you have one close or restaurant !!  Perhaps they can give you a clue !!

Got it, its Japanese. Cover says "Advanced Elementary School Drawing; Second Grade, for use by boys. Ministry of Education"

Its Japanese alright. But you can read Chinese then that is what it said on the cover. In Japanese language a lot of the words are Chinese. Don't forget China was a major country in the Far East for hundred of years. You pick up a two hundred year coin in Vietnam, Japan, Korea and they all written in Chinese.
About 20% of Japanese lang use Chinese words but sometimes slightly different meaning but most time  the same.

Thats good to know as we get a lot of questions on Japanese, Chinese items !! I am clueless on those languages !!
