old table
« on: January 06, 2013, 04:36:12 am »
I have an old table that I use for dining and craft. It is very large and solid. I really know nothing about dating furniture and that is why I am asking here. I have looked underneath and it appears to have been shortened. It will now sit 8 people comfortably. I am just interested to know it age and wether it has any value in its shorter condition. Thanks I can take more photos if required.

Please post pics of the overall table.  Picture of underside overall and any closeup of hardware/construction.  Also, dimensions would help a great deal!

AND...tell us what you already know about it so we don't tread over the same ground alot!  :)

Yes a pic of the entire table would help !!  Also your location and where you got the table !!  I agree it has been shortened by 4 to 6 inches at least !!
