Trying to identify Furnivals pattern name
« on: January 13, 2013, 08:51:10 am »
I recently acquired 6 Furnivals cake plates and serving plate. They are marked with "Furnivals (1913) England" and I believe a pattern design number of 1970b (it's hard to read).

I've tried searching replacement catalogs and various catalog listings, but to no avail.

Can anyone help with the pattern design name for this and/or tell me more about these plates, date, value, etc.?

Thanks!

This tells about the company !!  Go to replacements.com and see if they have the pattern !!  The value will be higher there than selling as you would !!  Ebay may give you a more accurate estimate of what it is selling for. Look at ending prices not starting prices !!

Thanks for your pointers. I just waded through 124 pages of Furnivals at replacements.com but couldn't see it listed there. ebay didn't have it either. I've set up a search on ebay to notify of new listings too. Thanks!
