Dinner Set and Tea Set
« on: March 08, 2013, 09:26:28 pm »
Hi My name is Krystle,

A few years ago i recieved a gift from my grandmothers friend, it is a beautiful vintage czechoslovakian dinner set and upon further inspection i also have a tea set although both have a few missing pieces, i am wanting to find out if it has any value as i would like to start finding them. The bottom of the dinnerset has a stamp that reads Rucni Malba, Has an eagle with a crown and the initials MZ then underneath that reads Czechosolvakia. The tea set has the same except it also has the number 29. And the teapot has a stamp on the bottom top right handside 2310 1,20, the sugar bowl and milk jug also have this stamp.
Here are some links to photos I have taken.

Found another site on this history of the company. In comparing the marks, I'm thinking yours matches up with the earlier date of 1922-1945. The later date appears to have much thicker 'lines'.
