Wullie, there's a herd of Highland cattle less than 1/2 hr drive from me. I've always wanted to get out of the jeep, climb over the fence and HUG them........just not sure the sentiment would be returned in kind.  :D

I have them around the corner from me !! One of our neighbors has them !!

Tell me you have to resist the urge to snuggle up to one of them and bury your face that mass of fur/hair! ;)

We've got a farm with longhorn cattle backing up to our place.  The eldest ones are Jim & TammyFaye (the old farmer named them after the debunked pastor/wife - because they are flashy and are high maintenance!  LOL).

They also have a few Emu, a zebra and miniature horses!  The donkeys crack me up with their ruckus!!!

I'm from the South - but please don't mistake my Southern Manners/Accent/Charm as a weakness!

Believe me,, get up close to these little buggers and that thought rapidly dissipates !!  These need a good shearing !!  And a bath and brush wouldn`t hurt !!
