Sure looks like a student violin to me too .... circa 1930's - 1960's , if the case is any indicator .
Sometimes these little Strat copies can really sing a tone , so perhaps you could just go buy a bridge , notch & install it & borrow a bow to hear its' "voice" & see if all things are as straight & tight as they should be .
I don't think the bow is anything 'special' & I'll guess (mind you , without having it in my hands) it's value may be less than the cost of a new horsehair job on it ...
