Mom brought out an heirloom glass from the 1890's

Evidently this has been in the family forever.   It's just one glass.  Anyone care to guess what it is....

It is pressed pattern glass of which there are 1200 plus identified patterns. I do not know the name of it but it is probably something and thumbprint. We have a couple experts here who will either name it or provide a data base for you. I did find the same pattern on Ebay but the seller did not know the name either. That does not help you much. Sorry.

Yep. Cogar seems to have narrowed it down. It looks like the same pattern to me with just a little variation in the way the gold was applied. Yours may have, at one time, had gold in the indentations but I think not. The edge would have worn off first.

Cogar is on the right track it is  EAPG (Early American Pressed Glass) with gold flash decoration  but not New Jersey/Loops and Drops, Start a search of  EAPG with gold flash decoration from US Glass if you do not find a match widen your search with those terms.  Good luck this could take you some time.
