Marble/Granite Tables and Possibly Pewter Vase
« on: June 26, 2013, 10:27:19 am »
Hi All, my name's Jamie and I'm new here.  I was hoping someone knowledgeable and kind would be able to assist me please.

I have two garden tables made out of either granite or marble and was hoping someone could give me an idea of their value.  The rectangular table is 30" long by 24" wide and is 0.75 inches thick.

The circular one is 32" round and also 0.75 inches thick.

I also have a vase that I think is made out of pewter.  Have searched the hall marks but unable to find them.  Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks for your time.

Jamie

I make no excuses,and no apologies....but i like a good Malt,

Haha, I was kinda hoping more £45 with the cat included.  Thanks very much for taking the time to reply.  It's good to know what they're finally made of.

Yes, any help with the pot will be greatly appreciated.  Many thanks.

Both tables look like granite to me too !! Bottom round table base is Victorian in style but top table is later I think !! Here the bottom round table would bring about $125. and top about $75. !!
Pewter vase is in rough condition !!

wullie, you'd best be careful. Wrong kind of pounce could turn cute kitty into crouching tiger. ;)

Mart, I was thinking pewter also, but when you look at the bottom (wear on rim) it looks like silverplate!  Either way, lotsa' wear.

Can you post the dimensions of the pot?  First off I would say it is a waste bowl or sugar pot.  But size will possibly help tell.
