British pottery
« on: February 13, 2005, 06:49:50 am »
I have my granny lily's toby jug. It is drop dead ugly. It is the largest of a set of 3 . It was a gift in 1950. It was made by the burlington pottery in the Uk. I haven't been able to find out too much about it. For years I kept it  in storage because it is just too ugly to display. Then I put it out for a while. It is again in storage. It is a full figure toby, with the typical green coat and black hat.  Any ideas as to its value or info on the pottery company?
