HI all, i am new to this forum and would love some help on a mask

I am new here and i hope someone can help . It's an old hand carved mask made of very light wood and hand painted. Maybe mexican or something? But its does look really old and took home with me . Hope someone knows , i did all the research i could think of on this one. Thanks again

Very unusual !!  Does look quite old !! Does not seem to be Mexican !!  Some of the other members are pretty good with these !!

Thanks for the reply, yes it sure does look old . Reason i just purchased it . The woman behind the counter ask me why it's ugly why buy it? I really i liked it was aged and some cobwebs in the eye holes but had charm

wow thanks wendy ! that's looks about right. . I thought it would probably be mexican. I keep finding old things that i cant figure out what they are or who made them. I suppose i can share some more pics.
