Wood Carved Boat?
« on: September 05, 2013, 05:59:52 pm »
I got this Asian style wood carved boat at the TS yesterday because I liked it although it is broken in a few areas and missing some pieces on the top and I doubt it has too much value to it but that doesn't matter.

It's about 12 Inches in length and about 5 3/4 inches in height and I'm guessing it's a mid-century tourist piece from somewhere in Asia. I don't see any maker identification marks on it.

Does anyone know how old it might be and where it may have been made?

Thanks!
Kevin

It has the feel, weight and look of Teak under the stain and on the bottom, so it could be Teak, I'm not positive though.
