Apparently this was an old thread. I'm glad my advice didn't change over two years though. Makes me sound like I almost know what I'm talking about. ;)

Just noticed that I read this wrong !! That why I asked what you meant !! I thought it said "makes me look like I don`t know what I am talking about" !! Sorry R&RR !! I`ve got to stop reading fast !!

I agree with mart, and whenever I sell something I always include a short hand-written note with the item.

Way too many online sales leave out the human factor !! You might as well order from a catalogue then !!  I do the same Mario and on occasion I even enclose a card !! If I am at a garage sale and someone has thank you cards or mixed boxes for $.50 or so,,I buy them and use them with my ebay !!

I also write "Thank you, -RR&R" on each of my invoices. It's a little thing, but people seem to like it. And besides, I am thankful that they had interest in whatever it is that I'm, selling. Without people, I would be out of business.
Take every price I say with a grain of salt...
