And when a deer causes a driver to lose control of an overloaded semi that is motovating at 70+ MPH ....... then "Katy bar the door".

The deer kill along I-79 is down quite a bit from what it was in the late 80’s to the mid to late 90’s. As they completed sections of I-79 they hydro-seeded the right-away with Crown Vetch and Clover. And when it started growing good it attracted the Whitetails like sugar does ants. And thus with those hundreds n’ hundreds of acres of fine “unmolested” eating the deer population mushroomed. It was not uncommon then to see groups of 25 to 75+ deer feeding in the larger patches of Crown Vetch. And they liked to feed in the “medians” between the north/south lanes cause there was good eatin there also.

That,s one Dumb woman... ;D....

They're everywhere, ..... they're everywhere, ...... and they're multiplying.

And I don't mean the deer.

But that's OK, the public schools have been teaching the younger generation the really important things in life.

Like how to control the weather, .... prevent global warming, .... that corporations are really bad, ...... the government is always right, .... that they deserve the same as anyone else ..... and its not their fault no matter what.  ;D ;D ;D

I weep for my generation. On the plus side though, if things keep going the way they are, I could be elected their benevolent dictator! But then again, I would need a college education first...

I dunno, that's kinda the way it is around here. Thread goes to chit chat after subject matter is discussed.  Thats not all a bad thing in my view, at least it keeps folks coming back to post.

;D ;D Did anyone else notice that Tale's post about her family Bible has like 97 replies?

It might be the "record" for this Forum.

Ps: I have a circa 64 Charles Daly (Miroku) o/u 20g, w/matched bbls. I could start another chit-chat thread for opinions of it. :D

I found someone selling a similar model Browning. He wants almost $1900.

what  he wants..and what he gets are two different things...all he,s probably done is marked it high...so that if a potential buyer haggles him down..say 10/20%..then the buyer thinks he,s done well...and the seller is rubbing his hands, cos he might have settled for 30%..less...start high..and you can only go down....start at what you want..and..you,ll lose....
