Your Ruger if a red label is worth around $400. or a bit more !!  Black label is about $150. to $200. !!

For those that wonder what the difference is:
The "Red Label / Eagle" Ruger denotes the early models that were fitted with red eagle medallions in the grips. After Alex Strum passed away in late 1951, Bill Ruger had that medallion changed to a black eagle in memory of his business partner. Any production after about February 1952 had the black eagle grips.
