The thistle carving on front says UK to me !!  And from what I can see early 20th century !!

Unfortunately...we are attached to England..and part of the UK....but we are Scottish first, British second....but during the summer you might mistake it for an American state....especially around here...where American tourists are thicker on the ground....than flies on a cow pat...
