Thanks, Mart!  I will let hubby know in the morning. He's the wood worker and all-around handyman.

The first pic is of a pine blanket chest he made me. The next two are of another 'find'. Although it wasn't free. We traded a never used bicycle for it. It is now filled with Carnival Glass.

Did you notice the key holes on the chest drawers? This pic is of the lock from the inside of the drawer. Does that help any?

Oh, Yes I saw them !! Back then everything had keyholes !! Odd thing is,,out of all the furniture like that I have handled, owned, bought, sold or seen,, I have maybe seen two that still had the key !! I used to buy all the skeleton keys I could find in hopes they would fit something I had !!   Just tell hubby not to refinish these,, !!
