Antique Lamp??
« on: January 21, 2014, 12:49:07 pm »
so I came across this Lamp.  It has two Glass Globes and a brass side canniste.  I don't know if it is an antique or not - thought I would ask?

Doesn't the electric cord say its a repro .... or that it has just been electrified? ???

It should not have a cord. it has been Electrified. Or it's a reproduction

Quoizel put out a whole series that looked like that in the 80s. We used to call those Tam O Shanter shades. I can't find an example of the Quoizel on line. Heres the thing. The Quoizel was a reproduction of a 19th Century style and done very well which was not typical for them. I can't enlarge your pictures so it is hard for me to tell. Most of what they did were the hurricane lamps in the floral patterns that lit top and bottom with name like Rust Rose and Abigail Adams.
