Sample not for resale

First off I know these are not antique or vintage for that matter. My mother works in retail and was given five Enesco my little kitchen fairies samples. My kids have many retail figures that are properly stamped. I can not find any sample figures online for the life of me! My question is how much more (rare,valueable) can a sample be?

It can depend on many factors.  Brand name of course?  How many samples were made?  Who were the samples available to?  It can increase price but I think with Enesco it would be marginal.  It can also vary a lot with demand.  Like Goebel they were wanted by everyone for quite sometime now not much interest.  They may come back in at some point though.

To add to that,, sample items were usually made identical to what was being sold !! So only difference was the addition of the words !!
