Soup bowl info.. Date Maker

any info is welcome. I only know that it is London made but can not date it or find the exact maker. Or is it not London made???

I believe London is the pattern name.  The last mark is a British Registration Mark.  I'm running out the door at the moment, but someone will pop in & help more, but the year of registration is 1868.  Nice to still have the ladle.  GG

Oetzmann& Co. were retailers in London,,not the maker of the tureen !!  They had many items made and simply put their mark on them !! The top link tells how to read the Registration mark.
What is the mark on the foot ??  Couldn`t read that !!

The imprint, Pinder Bourne & Company, was a a pottery maker and most likely the maker of your piece in Staffordshire,  and operated at Nile Street, Burslem, c.1862-82.

BUT if I am reading the registration marks correctly...they are for two different dates/years!  One is for 1866 (imprint) and one is for 1868 (blue).

I would recommend a "hands-on" inspection/valuation.

They look lovely but not worth a great deal. Would be surprised if you got more than £30-50 at auction. Possibly might get more on Ebay from an American buyer.

I would expect the two different marks to be patent applied for and when it was approved. Haven't seen it on porcelain before though.
