W. M. Rogers & Son AA Serving Spoon?
« on: May 03, 2014, 01:50:43 pm »
Measures approximately a foot long. Anyone mind helping me pinpoint which decade/era this piece came from? Possible worth? Not in the best of shape, though. Thank you so much! :)

At 12" it can be a soup ladle (cream ladles are generally 5 - 6" and Gravy are 7 - 8").  However, the more ornate bowl could be like a punch ladle!!!  But I am leaning to soup ladle!

Hard to say.  It hasn't seen alot of silver polish in awhile.  The last picture of the bottom of the bowl seems to appear the silver plate has been worn through/gone...if so, not worth much.

Can you explain the condition please?

Love the ridged pattern in the bowl

Here's a couple of good links that should help you find what you're looking for.

I'd have said about 1870-1880. Similar to their Monarch pattern which was about 1889-90.

If you can't find the pattern, you can contact Replacements LTD and send them the picture and let them know that "you are interested in finding out the pattern AND finding more pieces".
Here's the page to request assistance for Identification:
