new find today!

This is a cognac bottle. Trying to still figure out the writing. I'm not sure yet of the age. Still have to clean and read more of the embossing at the bottom.

It's from 1880's Marnier-Lapostolle. Don't know a value yet.

KC,I looked there. That's how I knew it was around 1880. Lapostolle was the original maker of Grand Marnier. His father was a wine maker. Can't seem to find value yet. I might post it on a bottle sight and get their thoughts on value. I will shrink the photo more so you can see. I decided not to wash yet. Label is to fragile.

Yepper, I wouldn't wash it either at this point. That's part of the value!

I have seen different prices. I saw one as high as $24.99. Whoppee! Lol I love it! Great history. I can't say the age is similar without having more views, specifically the bottom.
