Ceramic Tile Art

Hi Guys,

Is anyone familiar with this artist that can identify it.  The paintings are on a 1/2" thick ceramic tile.  The woman I have had for about 5 years and it was bought at an antique shop in California and I just recently purchased the horse from a guy in Texas.  Any help would be appreciated.  The woman measures 14" x 12" and the horse is 14" x 7".
