george jones & sons crescent china plates
« on: October 28, 2014, 01:51:27 pm »
I know I have a weakness for cobalt blue & gold together but come on, this plate is just plain beautiful

I found three of the at goodwill for 1.99 each

On ebay someone is selling six plates that kind of the same-but mine are so much more ornate and pretty

is this just a case where you can ask what you want or could I have hit a jackpot?

Here is another gorgeous cobalt blue/gold gilt by George Jones example.  Note that this individual has a "store" that they can offer this plate for this price.  Keep an eye on it to see if it sells for this.  In my opinion, that is still pretty steep.  But, it only takes one person needing to replace one piece to pay that and it is a win-win for the seller and the buyer!  :)

$25 - $30 (depending upon demand for the pattern) is a normal $ in our area for cobalt and gold gild.

This is more of a going price
