Help with Dining Table Type
« on: October 31, 2014, 10:50:25 pm »
I'm trying to find out all the information about a dining room table I have.  This table is 4' long when closed and 14' long when open with the 10 extensions that are each 1 foot wide.   Does anyone know where this table was made, what style and type of wood and any other information you know?

Thanks

Are you taking these pics from another site and posting here ??  When I click to enlarge them they are a blur !!
It appears to be mid century, maple and what was then called Early American or Colonial style !! Is anything written on the underside,,numbers ?? Sometime the metal extension mechanism will have a mfrs name !!  If you could take the pics, resize if large file and post directly to this site it would help !!

Ok, finally got the pictures to where they can be blown up.   This table has no writing on the bottom or any numbers of any kind.  I  find no markings that would help us.     Since this table expands out to 14 feet, it is kind of a unique table.  I don't even know if it was made in America or not.

Any help would be great.  Thanks.

Furniture was rarely ever marked !!  It has casters doesn`t it ?? Pics are still not good for me !! Can you take a pic of the underside so I can see the extension mechanism ?? Would help if you could take the leaves out so it would be more clear !! Doesn`t have to be the whole thing but enough so we can see what kind it is !!  Where did you get this table ??
