My new bag from ?

Just bought this lady's handbag and to me it looks egg shell from the ostrich ? But made where and when or by who ?  Can't find anything similar on the net so help needed .

Is there a name on it ?? Most have a small sewn in tag on the inside !!

No tag or whatever with a name to find . On the zip mover is the name AMCO . Just had a look and there a zipper company in Indonesia named Amco . But sold worldwide so

Zippers would be bought in bulk from Mfr.but they didn`t make the purse.  My guess is that its from Africa and something the ladies make as home industries !! There are many items that are made like that and sold !!

Think so to but the decoration on the wooden beads maybe are more to trace to a country ?  Or could also be a western piece of art made by ?

Would bet that beads also are Indonesian !!

Have you done a pin test on it?  

Celluloid, Bakelite and Lucite purses were the craze in the early 1900's.

Not yet but this bag is younger and after the seventies I think . So will do the test soon and let you know
