Trying to Buy Buddha Statues
« on: December 03, 2014, 06:03:37 am »
I am looking a marble buddha statues.
Its about 2 to 3 foot long.
The owner marked it about 1750 euro.
What do you think?
Is it reasonable?

Not very good workmanship which makes me think it is not old and not worth that amount !!  What is it made of ?? Can we see the bottom ??

Need to see more pics.

First glance...I would say a no.
I'm from the South - but please don't mistake my Southern Manners/Accent/Charm as a weakness!

I'm with you.  I don't see that kind of value in it.  Rough workmanship.  Old masters were very detailed and put intricate work into them.
