Hi All,

I am looking for more dishes in my Grandmother's Czechoslovakia China set.  I have posted this before but hoping for more information and that all of you will keep your eyes out for more of this set for me.

I have found some information about the company and when the dishes were made but I do not know the Pattern Name.
Researching the Mark:  it was used between 1918-1939 by Count Thun Porcelain Factory Czechoslovakia, also called Royal Thun.

Please help. I have searched for over 20 years.  Searching eBay, Ruby Lane, Etsy, auction sites, antique stores, antique malls, and the Brimfield antique shows,  I never found any of my Nana's dishes.  I sent pictures to Replacements.com, posted these dishes to Ebay's "Want it Now". and Craig's List's Wanted section, and with no luck.

Description: The yellow-orange roses & violets pattern is off center. The dishes are raised rim with a fluted edge & gold leaf line.
The factory mark is green with the letters TK covered by a crown and the word Czechoslovakia in a semicircle under the letters and crown.

It seems you have already identified the china maker.  For many makers/manufacturers it is almost impossible to identify the pattern name because 1) so many patterns were made and 2) they didn't keep a log/inventory identification of them for the public.

I continue to look for this whenever I am out and about.  Should I ever find any I will let you know!  :)

Sorry, only saw this thread just now.

It could also be because the set was (re)decorated. Not all decoration studios actually added an own mark; even some very good hobbyists never added a mark or their initials. And the Thun factory did sell blanks ...

Thanks Christ for that valuable bit of information.  That one is even more relevant for many makers such as the Thun factory.
