Cast Bronze Upright Bear candle Holder
« on: March 18, 2015, 12:52:44 pm »
I have a cast bronze upright bear candle holder on a stepped plinth which is very heavy. I have been trying to find out more about this but so far have come to a dead end.

On the bottom it is incised with registered number 555866 and is overall about 10.5 inches tall.

Can anyone help me to identify this?

I am surprised it is bronze.  It sure appears cast iron form the picture.  :)

Any markings on the bottom or base?

I presumed it was cast bronze as it has a greenish tinge over it
