you could search forever or you may be lucky. They look like something that may be made by a tribal artisan and its just his/her mark

That's what I was thinking.  I found these at an estate sale and they couldn't tell me anything about them.  My "best guess" is that they could be from Mexico, possible bought in the 70's from a shop owner.  It does sort of look like an old Aztec monument...
