1900s bathing beauties
« on: June 08, 2015, 03:06:08 pm »
This was my great buy for a quarter this weekend. As some of you know I live at the Jersey Shore. This is what they wore to swim in the 1900s. Avoiding getting tan was important as was modesty back then. Sunblock came built in. Today they where thongs and walk on the boardwalk.

Imagine going in the ocean wearing that? It must get really heavy when wet. Plus all the sand.
