Help - WWI UK RAF photoalbum identification
« on: October 09, 2015, 11:48:11 am »
I have a old photo album related to a RAF pilot who properly served in WWI.

I tried to research it so I can name it to the pilot but will need a RAF detective to resolve this mystery.

Anybody maybe a idea who this could belonged to or which squadron this is.

Also very helpful would be if somebody can identify which area/base these pictures were taken.

There are many crashed airplanes and groups pictures in this album, maybe somebody can identify one of the pilots.

please see link below for the pictures,

thank you

How wonderful!!!!!!

Can you tell who the main person is in the album?  Are you sure they are a pilot?  (They had men who rode on the wings on the ground to direct them where to go because the pilots couldn't see due to the nose being up so high.)

Is there one plane that the pictures are mainly of?  If so, the identification information on the plane please.

Being married to a pilot....this is great stuff!  Had a uncle who was a pilot in WWII and have 2 books done on his group.  (Still waiting to see if the movie is going to be made on his squadron!  For Real!)
