Aldens Sowing Machine

A friend gave me an older/classic sowing machine.  I am trying to figure out how to use it or if it's worth anything.  It was made in Taiwan, it doesn't have a date.  It is a de luxe zig zag AC & DC  up to 75 cycles 115v- 130w- 1.3A ? Does anybody know anything about this.
