Interesting Lighter i stumbled upon
« on: April 11, 2016, 08:40:08 am »
Greetings Antiquers!

I found an interesting lighter in a marketplace in Romania during one of my visits. I never saw anything like it, and i have no idea from when or how much its worth. I do no intend to sell it, as it became part of my antique collection, but i would really like to know more about it.

Below you can find a picture of it. Its double sided.

Thank you in advance :D

Most lighters I have seen of this style are referred to "trench art" lighters.  Interesting that it is of Stephen the Great of Moldavia!  Majority I have seen originate form Germany and France.

I'm from the South - but please don't mistake my Southern Manners/Accent/Charm as a weakness!
