carnival or depression glass??
« on: August 21, 2016, 04:13:02 pm »
I am so sorry to be flooding the Forum, but trust me, these are just a small fraction of what I'm sorting thru.
Thank-you EVERYONE for pointing me in the right direction.

Anyway, this 3 compartment dish is 6.25" across.
It has no markings.
The photo does not do it justice.
It has that crazy sheen like carnival glass has, but this is a rich amber.
I'm not sure if carnival glass ever came in this color.

Raven,

This is Depression Glass.  It was made by Jeannette glass well into the 1960s.  It complimented the Doric and Pansy Pattern, often called Doric Iridescent   The color is called Marigold.
Value $8 to 12 dollars.

Ahhh ha!
Thank-you so much.

I really like this piece, so I doubt it'll go in the Estate Sale.
Again, thank-you!!!
