Am I seeing correctly that the mark is blue?

Is the inside entire glazed?  Does it feel heavy for it's size?

Here is a different view of the "mark".

But the orientation of the "mark" in the 1st post is correct.

It is listed as a "crown & circle or oval crown and shield" on Page 111 in Kovels' Dictionary of Marks.

To wit:

Ludwig Wessel
Bonn, Rhineland, Germany (W. Germany)
Porcelain
ca 1887 - 1907 (1885 - present)
(Wessel Ceramics Works AG)

LOL !!  Thanks Cogar,,!!  But do these people that design the marks know what a crown is supposed to look like ??  Yes,, perhaps it is because I am an American and a Texan that my notion of a crown mark is much different !!  Last pic looks perfectly right to me !!

The mark is forest green.
Yes, it's glazed on the inside, too.
Not terribly heavy. I'd say about 2 pounds.

Makes much more sense when seeing a good stamp with the initials !!

Brilliant, Cogar !

So the P underneath stands for Poppelsdorf.
