Does anyone know it this is true antique or fake ?  I've looked online and can not find one like this .. thanks for any info .. :)

I would think the design is fairly typical of an early Red Wing salt glazed piece.

The crock shown is in really nice shape! Just wondered if anyone could comment on crocks that have damage - what kind of glue to repair cracks for instance?

kdj,,can you post a pic of the crack ??  Generally it is better to not try any repairs on crockery !!  Does it seem to be a small surface crack or a whopping big one ??  Inside or outside ??

If the crack doesn't go all the way through, just make note of it and leave it alone. It will have some effect on the value, but not a tremendous one.
