Graphite drawings. Does somebody knows this artist? East Europa?

I have checked my references and there is no record of a K. Dendrinou. I found a Tonia Dendrinou, but she started making engravings in the 1920s and the first name is not right. Your drawings could have been made as part of drawing lessons. The artist certainly had some talent, but unfortunalely there is no information available about her.

Knowledge is power, I would never knew and happy that i learned more today.
Shame she's not a listed artist, must be one of the ones that slipped away.

I guess your artist was called "Aikaterini", and in normal life called "Katerina", which is the simpler version of the same name. Now you have the given name of her, too. It is not unusual that a woman painter of that period in Greece is not recorded, thete are a few that have been "rediscovered" only in recent years, because they never exhibited their work.

Its all about the details. Thx Mat I'm very happen with this outcome.
I do prefer to keep investment paintings and drawings. Would these be consider investment type?
Don't even know what they are worth because I have no auction results or others to base a value on.

How where the other ones discovered? And to who are they the most valuable?
A collector, museum or other? If the artist is not listed than its more decorative value, or not.

I am not good with values, maybe others can tell you more. The others were discovered when their heirs decided to sell their works. Anyway the Greek art market is not at it's best at the moment...
