Vintage Cruets
« on: June 10, 2017, 06:57:56 pm »
I found these lovely cruets at an estate sale and am uncertain who made a couple of these.  I believe the blue hobnob/hobnail one is fenton, the cut glass is perhaps Cambridge Majorie, but the tall decorative one and the amber one I can't find anywhere.  Any ideas on one or both of these?  Thank you

In the last pic,, the one on the right is probably Murano glass !!  Agree about the Fenton Hobnail !!  No clue about the others !!  All are nice !!

In regard to the "tall cruet", you might look into Bohemian glass.

Thank you - I had thought of Bohemian, but wasn't certain until I did more research - thanks to you.  I found perfume bottles with the same motif - there is a red '49' on the bottle and stopper.  Thanks again.

You may already know that your tall cruet is called "end of day." I've got one that's almost identical, except in green. I don't know the year of manufacture, but presumed it was sometime in the early 20th century.

You are talking about the one I thought was Murano ??  Could be,, didn`t think of that !!  Also similar to the spatter glass above,, top, center !!

Thank you all, I appreciate having a name to the Bohemian cruet - the red marked '49' apparently was the year it was made.  They put the red mark on all their cruets and stoppers.  Also on the amber splatter, I finally found it - Pilgrim Glass Company.  The handle is  unusual and that is what helped me ID that it was from Pilgrim.  Thank you all - I really appreciate your responses.
