Antique African American Bust Made From Old Tree

This is what I think is an African American bust from neck up carved perfect froma tree.There's  some type of name but it's so faint my camera won't pick it up.The wood appear to be different colors but part of the wood is darker.It is all wood.I hope somebody can help.I've tried 3 sites and no id.

Need dimensions of piece and does the bottom have a metal band around the bottom?

Reminds me of the pieces you see around the world head carved phallic symbols for fertility good luck.

Name is so faint camera won't take clear picture at all,no metal band,all wood,I'll have to measure again
