Prices in EAPG
« on: April 09, 2018, 02:48:52 pm »
I have so much EAPG that I put a few pieces out at my estate sale. I didn't sell one piece. Either people aren't interested in EAPG anymore or I'm asking too much. I have $25 on the pitcher and $10 on the bowl. Opinions?

Yes I have an opinion,, That is way too cheap !!  Why don`t you open an Etsy store or something ??  I know you have an ebay thing but maybe a store would work for you !!  Its just taking pics and posting them,, same as here !!  Even Ruby Lane for  that kind of glassware !!  Thats give-away prices !!

A few years ago, I went to a church rummage sale and they had pieces of EAPG marked $1 and $2 and it wasn't selling. I'd have bought it if I didn't have so much already (see photo for a FEW examples). That is an indication of how bad the vintage glass market is here in upstate NY. I'd send it to an auction, but I had a bad experience with an auctioneer about 10 years ago.

Something needs to jumpstart that market again. I see that unusual colored pieces are selling here but not much clear unless they are very desirable like Sandwich.(Authentic) . Yard sale people want everything for a song around here in NJ. Follow Marts advice. Hi Mart!

Where have you been Frogpatch ??  Have missed you !!  There are many speciality sites for EAPG !! Those are nice pieces but have no idea what the pattern is !!  Clearly glass is not my area !!  I leave that to the smart people here !!

Hello,

Your water pitcher is Pres-Cut glass made by McKee in the Aztec Sunburst pattern.  I just chose one of your items to get an idea on pricing.  The high end price was $95.00 and the low was $43.70 (listed as $55 Canadian dollars).  You may see the listings in the link below.

Typically, these pitchers sell for $60-$75 in the stores near me (NE).  So, I don't think your items are overpriced BUT I don't think you will get the price at an estate/yard sale.

I agree with the others.

Here at garage sales they sell because most people take them and sale them on neighborhood sites or auction sites.
