Mart:  When I first posted this, I received a message back which  was, "Cannot post, additional security required" when I tried to open the link.

Now tonight, on Gunbroker there is a posting that this very gun was sold at auction from an auction company in January, 2017, and brought $25,000.  I don't know what gives, but my gut feeling is that someone bought the gun at that figure and turned it down for whatever reason and the sale has been in litigation since that time and settled .  The gun advertised on Gunbroker started at .01 cents.

I'll try to pass on anything further I find out.  It was common knowledge that James Masterson, in his later years bought many guns from pawn shops and advertised them as guns he had carried and sold.

The gun now sits at $1600.00  This is probably as much as this gun is worth as it probably makes NRA Fair in condition.  Any more would be betting on tenuous provenance.
